Bought this i970 for my Peugeot 308 because the engine warning light was on the instrument panel, and in the message centre i have the depolution system faulty message. The diagnostic tool told me there was a fault with cylinder 1. I changed the ignition coil which was only £20 from Euro Car Parts, and now the car drives just fine, and i reset the light and message with the kit. Very easy to use. I also updated the kit but not sure what the difference was after the update. Very handy to keep in the boot incase of another warning light.

The kit arrived pretty quick, not really sure what i'm doing with diagnostics so bought this as a kind of learning tool, but it is easy to hook upto the diagnostic port, and was reading and clearing codes within minutes. Good tool.

My Citroen C4 has an ABS light and i thought this was going to be a very heavy bill if i took to the garage because i read that it could be the ABS module or pump failing which is expensive. So i wanted to check for myself. Turns out the problem was because of an ABS sensor which i replaced for £20 (plus the cost of this tool) but i have the added security that i can always diagnose my own faults now instead of taking it to the garage to have them diagnose at £40 or £50 per time. Very impressed with the kit. I see they also have an iCarsoft kit for a Ford, and will probably buy that because the wife has a Ford Focus.

It's pretty good, i have used kits in the past for other cars which do the same thing, but they cost double the price of this one. Impressive for the money, considering it pays for itself as opposed to going to the garage just for diagnosis twice. Fast delivery aswell.

Since ive has the engine light on my Peugeot for about 6 months now i though it was about time to get it looked at, didnt really want to pay garage prices as they are all crooks around here, so wanted to see the info for myself, all i needed was a new MAF which cost £35 and the i970 cleared the engine light in a matter of seconds. Got this as a gift for my husband, we have a Peugeot and a Citroen so it covers both of us if we were to ever get problems. we don't (tough wood) actually have any problems at the minute, but in the past we have had really bad luck with cars so wat to guard against paying high garage costs, and my husband is handy with the spanners.
