We had recently been working on a customers Peugeot 308 which had the engine management light showing on the dashboard, and the engine was shaking and juddering when at idle. The car was also in limp mode/get home mode and was restricted to a speed of 30mph.

We diagnosed the fault to find a Peugeot trouble code of P1337 which means a misfire in cylinder 1 of the engine. We replaced the ignition coil in this cylinder and then removed the diagnostic trouble code as shown in the video which cleared the problem.

The tool used in the video was the Autel MD802 DS, but you could also use the cheaper Autel MD702 DS which is cheaper but limited to less vehicle coverage.
